With all the knowledge we now know about tobacco product. That it is for sure a documented KILLER! Than when a smoker lights up, he is committing suicide? Also what we know about second hand smoke! If their is another person who doesn't smoke, breathes the second hand smoke. In turn dies from that act of ignorance. Could that be concidered homacidal? According to the DSM-IV Suicide and Homacide fall into these guidelines. Now knowing this, give me your answer.

You would have a very hard time proving this in court. And you are not correct about the DSM. I use THE DSM, and smoking is neither suicide nor homicide. It is harmful, however. Smothers know that; people around smoker know that.

How about a report that takes in enviormental effects? Your car tires are asbestos and every time someone burns rubber that is put in the air and how about the stuff carpet is made of - all carcinogens. and now then the scotch guard? Carcinogen.
Vinyl, linoleum Formica all carcinogens Every surface in your car is lethal to you and you let it bake at 130 degrees in the summer and hop right in don't you?
Second hand smoke studies were conducted inside a controlled room to show that the concentrated smoke was harmful. Yet no one addresses the other concerns at all

Yes, tobacco smoking can kill you, but so can many other things--things like eating lots of high-fat foods, not buckling your seat belt, living a sedentary lifestyle, etc. There are many other dangerous and irresponsible activities that could fall under this same category. Somebody here needs to lay off the herb.

I've smoked for over 20 years & do not consider myself suicidal or homicidal. If I was suicidal, I would be willing myself to die.(I'm not ready to die yet. I want to make others miserable as long as I can in other ways.lol) When I smoke, I do not smoke around others that do not smoke.

Everytime you drive a car your pumping out Nitrous oxides and carbon monoxide, these things also harm people nearbye those innocent pedestrians on the street. So following your logic everytime someone drives a car they are commiting homicide.

No, I don't think so. It not good to smoke and when you do; you don't know how it's going to affect your body.
It also gives you a very bad breath.
