nah, they're the same, sadly....empty calories, but brown sugar is a bit better due to less chemical treatment...;)

It certainly isn't a health food, but it could be argued that brown sugar is slightly healthier because it contains micronutrients while white sugar is just sugar.
Chromium, selenium, etc. are contained in brown sugar thanks to the molasses content.

Sugar comes from cane sugar and when it is processed looks like brown syrup. In order to turn it white they literally bleach it. So if you want bleach with your coffee, tea, be my guest.

It isn't. Any sugar, be it brown, white, honey, or high fructose corn syrup, is all metabolized in the body in exactly the same way.
