I've never understood that! I guess it's very rare that I'm in the restroom for more than a few minutes, but even if I have a very severe case of diarrhea, I can normally focus on only one thing at a time!

Some people have busy lives and use going to the toilet as time out. I can remember staying with my Cousins, went to go to the cloakroom and my Cousin was sat, while on the telephone, why not. My Father spent one hours every night reading on the toilet. I found and especially with the morphine, I have to sit and so I read. I have regular bowel habits, so midnight I sit, read and at midnight, or ten minutes, or twenty minutes, the bowel opens. When you are young healthy and fit, you rush everything. As you age you really need to find time for yourself. Wait until you are married with a brood of children.

I guess it would be fine but for me, i like to take care of my business and leave, who like to spend time in the toilet???

maybe it would be there quite time but who really knows but them.

it would be OK if they had two toilets because if it's only one and other members need to used the toilet then that could create a problem for every one.

I hope this helps...

PS. Please Remember to Always Wash You're Hands, if your picking up magazines that are in the toilet already or play with a game toy while using the toilet can be very unsanitary (very messy).

Yeah, I'm usually in and out. If there are magazines nearby, I usually will pick one up and start to read it, but I can very rarely finish an article. Some people just take longer in there than others I suppose.

I think that generally people have terrible nutrition which causes any number of digestion problems. Proper fiber intake and water are a couple of things most people fall short on a daily basis causing them to backed up and have a few extra minutes. If your just sitting there waiting, why not read?

It doesn't really take a lot of effort/concentration to relieve oneself, so if one gets bored easily or is busy, reading is a fine thing to do.

I don't know it puts your mind on other things and the time goes by really fast with out worrying about what you are really in there for.
