Without really knowing the goal of your diet (weight loss, body cleansing, heal a sickness) I would suggest the following diet. It doesn't contain anything harmful and will allow your body to fight any infection that comes its way. This is the diet I follow 85% of the time. Your health will improve, your weight will become appropriate for you, you'll feel happy and positive.
First drink only water - half of your body weight in ounces. Don't drink within an hour before or 3 hours after eating.
For breakfast eat a bowl of amaranth and 4-5 different fruits. For lunch eat a bowl of quinoa, an avocado, lettuce, carrots, cucumber and sprouts. For dinner eat a bowl of brown rice, 4 oz of low-fat fish (steamed), lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, sprouts and a steamed vegetable or two (such as kale, broccoli, bok choy, asparagus, cabbage, brussel sprouts, beets, turnips, corn, cauliflower - the first 4 are my favorites).
Don't eat processed food, dried foods (i.e. beans or fruit), anything made from milk, chicken, meat, eggs, garlic, onions, scallions, spices, MSG, wheat, rye, oats, barley, anything out of a can, white potatoes, swiss chard, peppers, eggplant, spinach, celery, mushrooms, sugar, soybean products, or anything containing yeast.

It's not so much what TO eat, it's what NOT to eat. A lot is common sense.. instead of grabbing that Snickers bar, opt for the orange instead. If you cut 500 calories out of your average intake you will lose at least a pound a week. Add exercise to that, and bump it up to 2.
Just watch your intake... fat, sugars, etc and try to consume portion sizes and you will definitely lose weight.
Don't call it a diet.. diets always fail... just make it a small lifestyle change.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

30% fats, 30% protein, and 40% carbs. That's healthy. Remember your body needs at least 1200 calories a day to stay healthy. Put a zero at the end of your weight and that's how many calories a day you need, along with regular exercise to lose weight effectively. Remember to change it when you lose weight.

depends what you want out of the diet. eg do you want to gain muscle mass? do you want to lose weight? do you have an intolerance to gluten or wheat...? iron deficiant? diabetic, the list goes on..... your question is to vague, you haven't included your age, weight, height or fat percentage...
you should consult your doctor to construct a diet plan based on your specific needs.
you shouldn't rely on anyone other than a doctor to suggest diets. they could be lacking in something your body needs.
good luck to you
