Exercizes do NOT flatten your stomach. They may strengthen your abs and give more separation, but the only thing you can do to lose fat is diet and cardio. A million situps will not get rid of a belly.

Pilates and find a local group to join. I wish I had known about Pilates at the young age of 20, then I would not have wasted money on clothing, could have kept my stomach in shape. However hit the Climacteric, phase before menopause, lost me butt, gained a beer belly. Went to Pilates and tis gone! Once you learn the Pilates technique, you learn it for life and as I am now a wheelchair user due to Arthritis, really wish I had taken up Pilates 20 years ago! Dont make my mistake.

Lay on your back on the floor, lift your legs straight up like you are pushing the ceiling with flat feet.
Gently and controlled lift your hips off the ground. You can put your hands under your hips to help if needed.
You can add lifting your head and shoulders at the same time.
Do 3 sets of 12 reps every day.
Can also lift legs straight up and controlled move legs from straight up to barely touching the floor.
