I have leftover pork tenderloin I need to use up.

I also have a lot of fresh veggies I can use. I was thinking I might make a soup. Any other ideas are welcome, too.

I have onions, zuchinni, grape tomatoes, cabbage, celery, radishes, and carrots.

Would grape tomatoes taste good just tossed into a soup?

Would radishes? Or are those better just left fresh?

What kind of broth/stock/cream base would work best for this soup?

I'd really appreciate any ideas, thanks~

I would like to get some recipes on how to make fresh (not canned or frozen) meals. I am also on a limited budget, so please keep this in mind. I do not want anything that comes in a can or is frozen. Thanks

I don't want to add water. It will make it too loose.

Or should I just start over??

Like when you buy a multiple layer cake at a bakery or whatever. when I bake it at home, the top is always rounded like a dome, and when you stack it, they are not even layers.

It was almost like a ball of noodles on the plate. And it was really hard to mix in the other ingredients with the noodles (chicken and veggies).
What could I do next time to keep them from being so sticky and clumpy?

Some people say you scoop the flour right from the bag and even it out, when others say it's better to scoop up the flour, press it in the cup then repeat the step until the cup is crammed with flour. Which way do you find works better?

I have tried everything - lowering the temperature of the oven, different pans, but my cakes always are hard around the edge. Any help?

Howdy. I'm looking for cookie recipes from the 1964 or 1975 eds. of TJoC (perhaps any edition before the 1997). One is a recipe for coconut macaroons, a simple recipe with the main ingredients being coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and egg whites, I believe. The second recipe is for a cookie with fennel (or possibly anise) seed. It is a batter cookie for which the batter is left to dry overnight before baking. I hope you can help me with these recipes. Thanks much.
