Even the bottle says to remove the thing after cooking!

My mother used to stress over the bay leaf and it would always be in my fathers food!

She told me you don't eat it because it is poisonous but that doesn't make sense if we can have it cook in our foods.

So is it poisonous or just really hard to chew up?

In about 6 weeks I'm going to begin a cooking class for underprivileged kids and adults. I've already got use of a kitchen facility with 12 ovens and stoves and most of the utensils I need (but not all).

However, since the people I'll be teaching (my church is paying for all the ingredients, electric bill, etc.) can't really afford much at all in the way of garments to protect their clothes, I'm trying to find a company that would be willing to donate about 20 full-length kitchen aprons. I don't care if the aprons are plain or if they are full of advertisements. I just need something to help protect my 'cooks.'

Any suggestions as to what companies I could contact and who I'd contact at the company?

Thanks!

Would anyone mind sharing the best ever Sprtiz recipie they've used? The last one I tried was kind of bland and not very tasty. I want to make yummy ones for Christmas.

Please....I also need tips on using the cookie press from Wilton. Everytime I try to the cookies seem to stick and I have to force them of the plate.

I know you can also use different kinds of extracts, but can you mix them....say like vanilla and pepermint? Would that tatse good? Thanks and happy holidays!

One guy broke down and cried the start of the episode and it was obvious he had a mental health issue. It looked like someone had been killed. I know that you must hav people who are psyvchologically stable in busy kitchens and I would think that the producers of the show have a duty of care to ensure that contestants are capable and not just have contestants who boost the ratings who pose a occupational risk . Does someone really die in this season?

I am baking Amaretti cookies tomorrow and the recipe calls for caster sugar. I've been all over and can't find it. What do I do? I heard caster sugar is just very fine sugar, but not confectioners sugar. Can i just grind regular granulated sugar in the food processor??

I need help!
