Absolutely.

In the summer it is very warm here in Texas. Accordingly, I want something light like cold cuts, salads, sandwiches, and sometimes even just cold watermelon.

If it is winter and cold, I tend to lean toward heartier things like thick soups and stews, roasts, lasgne.

I think temperature and the seasons have a huge influence on not just what I want to eat, but how active I am.

Pretty much. When it's 90 degrees with 100% humidity, who the heck wants to heat up their kitchen with a roast? Those are the nights we have sandwiches. =) But, I also find that during the colder months, I have more of an interest in things like soups, stew, pot roast, etc. Ask me about those in July and I'll probably make a face at you. Except for soup. I eat that all year round! =)

The temperature outside most definitely affects what I cook. If it is cold out then I want something very filling, but on the other hand if it is hot then I want something light and easy.

Very much so. If it is hot outside you couldn't pay me to turn on my oven. My heater broke the day before Thanksgiving so I have been baking a lot. It keeps my house warm. And I crave a lot of warm soup, chili and stuff when it's rainy.

Definitely, for some reason I only eat chili, beans, chicken and noodles, and my very favorite homemade clam chowder when it is cold outside. I don't even consider eating any of these in the summertime.

In the summertime we cook out almost everynight, chicken, hamburgers, steaks, pork chops, hotdogs, etc.

No. Though sometimes I get in the mood for barbecue chicken when it's warm or for soup when it's cold. But I would eat either no matter what the weather/temperature.

Yes, I live in MN (Minnesota) so if its cold out I dont really grill (or grille for some), I usually make something like pastas, hamburger helper or something like that.

Yes! I will only make soup or Crock Pot stuff if it is cold. Some think this is weird. I guess they wont be invited over to eat......

yes, when it is warm outside, I like to make cold dishes like cold pasta, cold soup, and have frozen items for desert (like ice cream). When it is cold out, I love to have tea, coffee or hot chocolate in the morning and have warm things to eat like soups, or spicy dishes.

Yes, when it's really cold I make chili. I wouldn't do that in the summer. When it's storming, I make sandwiches. It really does effect my decisions for my meals.
