My Grandmother used to make THE best French Toast in the world. I don't have the recipe and everytime she wanted me to cook...well, I was a tomboy....I had better things to do than cook!!!
I did make it a couple of times however. And I distinctly remember Gram using flour to help it rise. I also remember her adding other ingredients that seemed odd - until she explained them. But heck if I remember what they were. I remember it had a very distinct taste to it.

*Gram was from Canada and was French Canadian and that's where the majority of her recipes are based from if that helps...

Thanks

I'm 16, (17 tomorrow, yay) and I'll be ome by myself for a whole month, and I don't know how to cook except poptatoes. I'll be left with 200 dollars for food, ad I don't know what to make myself for meals except baked potatoes. To me, cooking chiken and turkey, and meat in general is a hassel. I like italian foods. I'm Korean, so I eat alot of Korean style foods too, and I espcially like buchimgae....

Any easy, no hassel, meals I can make at home? I am a heavy eater..... and kind of an organics freak...

I think this would be a great opportunity for me to learn some decent cooking. cause i can't cook anything... excpt potatoes...

I made a great apple pie last year but lost the recipe. I need a recipe for apple pit that uses some type of cream. I can't remember what type the original called for. I found some when searching for "apple cream pie" but they all made there's sound like it was more of a custard type and this one did not seem to be custard like. Also I lost my recipe for the crust I need a recipe that the crust is soft. My husband does not care for crispy flaky crust. I know it is a lil crispy on top but the majority under the top is soft. Can anyone Please help me!? 3 days till Thanksgiving and I am beginning to worry about not having a good recipe.
