I'm 16, (17 tomorrow, yay) and I'll be ome by myself for a whole month, and I don't know how to cook except poptatoes. I'll be left with 200 dollars for food, ad I don't know what to make myself for meals except baked potatoes. To me, cooking chiken and turkey, and meat in general is a hassel. I like italian foods. I'm Korean, so I eat alot of Korean style foods too, and I espcially like buchimgae....
Any easy, no hassel, meals I can make at home? I am a heavy eater..... and kind of an organics freak...
I think this would be a great opportunity for me to learn some decent cooking. cause i can't cook anything... excpt potatoes...

The bagged salads and bottled dressings are very good, and inexpensive. Buy some boneless chicken, rice, noodles, chicken broth, and a small variety of veggies (peppers, onion, tomatoes) grated cheddar, parm, and mozzarella cheeses, canned soup, spaghetti sauce, alfredo sauce, salsa and tortillas.
With this you can make:
chicken fajitas or tacos (chicken, cut up veggies, cheese, salsa and tortillas)
chicken alfredo (chicken, alfredo sauce, pasta)
spagetti with salad
chicken stir fry (chicken, veggies, rice)
chicken soup (chicken, broth, veggies, rice or noodles)
baked chicken (rice, chicken, canned mushroom soup)
Also, chicken is great with baked potato, and a salad. You can get canned chicken meat, so that would cut down on cooking time. My daughter suggested mac and cheese as a quick easy meal, and you can find organic mac and cheese. (Annie's is one brand I have seen at Kroger)
Have fun, and good luck.

Go to Google.com and surf the web looking for foods you like to eat. Like type in Korean foods and find the recipes and styles of foods you like to eat. Some of the websites have step-by-step instructions so you can find something easy you want to create.
When you find a recipe you like, go to the store and buy the things you need to fix it.
Stir fry foods are easy to make so check that out at Google too.
Cooking is not hard. You just need to watch what you are doing - don't get on the phone and forget something cooking on the stove. Read the ingredients twice to make sure you have everything and you have it in the correct amounts. Don't turn the heat up to make it go faster - this will lead to things burning. It takes how long it takes.
If you make stir-fry, cut all your food before you ever start cooking. Then it's one continuous process, feeding each food into the pot.
Hope that helps. You can even go to the library and check out the cookbooks there - see if you can find one with lots of pictures and how-to instructions. They are out there.

Hey bud I know how you feel. You're Korean you say? How about some Kimchee? that's always easy. Just slice up some cucmbers and mix in the paste. I also advise you buy some rice to eat with it. Get some cans of tuna-that also goes well with rice. Try grilled cheese sandwiches and canned soup! You know what I mean? I hope that helps you!

TV Dinners are the way to go. That and frozen pizza. If you want real food, bags of salad and bottled dressing make lives easier as well. If your not a vegiterian, chef salads work good and there is no cooking involved. Anything you can make in the microwave is good.
