I don't know of anything being wrong with putting milk in jello. Jello just needs a liquid to dissolve it. It will color the jello from, say, red to a lighter shade. But I know I've had cottage cheese in my jello with no problem so I don't see why milk would be a problem. I am not sure why you would want to use it, though. It doesn't add anything to the jello - like flavor, appearance, texture, etc. Generally people who want to change the appearance may add Cool Whip or Sour Cream or Cream Cheese to make it go from clear (transparent) to opaque and white-ish. Milk may just make it look watered down.

milk in jello is not bad but try cream instead as a substitute for cold water that's what i use and stir well
