Phyllo freezes just fine, but don't forget to thaw it in your refrigerator. Phyllo needs to thaw slowly.

You can return it but it is something to have around for a quick appetizer or desert maker and I always keep some around.

Call the store you bought it from first; Kroger and their various sub-chains are really good about food returns whereas Wal-Mart is not. You can freeze phyllo dough but make sure it is covered as it'll dry out if air can get in.

You can freeze it. I would just use it and not return it, you can make so many things out of it, especially for a coctail party.

I always freeze it. it will be just fine once you thaw it. But make sure you thaw it in the refrigerator, not on the counter.

Freeze it if you want to use it again, otherwise you can return it if it's not opened.
