You could do it, this way. Bring a container of water to a rapid boil. Take it from the oven and put it in the sink. While wearing a protective oven mitt, gently roll the egg into the water from the side (don't just drop it in). Cover the bowl with a lid and let it set for twenty minutes. The egg make crack, the shell will probably stick but you will have a hard cooked egg. But you will be better off doing this on the stove. I've seen egg cookers that are supposed to work in the microwave. Try AsSeenOnTV on google.

I many times do 8-10 minutes. I would desire to upload which you will desire to positioned the eggs in the water and then deliver it to a boil. this would appear like consumer-friendly experience yet i know people who've dropped eggs into boiling water and questioned why their eggs have been exploding. So. Yeah.

If you put an egg in a shell in the microwave, it will blow up.

If you put an egg out of it's shell with the yolk intact (not broken), in the microwave, it will blow up.

You need to stir the egg and break the yolk to do it in the microwave. And if you do that, it's no longer a hard boiled egg.

The only safe way to do this in a Microwave is to first remove the shell.

Then, poke the Yolk so that it doesn't explode from the steam.
