I always have so many leftovers and, this year, I have a lot of guests staying for the weekend. I need some simple recipes I can use to make the most out of my leftover stash! Anything will work - sweet potato recipes, turkey recipes, cranberry recipes ... let me know!

I am looking for a Gingerbread Cookie recipe that uses something healthier than molasses without sacrificing flavour....perhaps something with honey?
Does anyone have a tried and trusted recipe??

I had this dessert a few weeks ago at a catered party. I was told it was terre a ma sous--that is how it sounds, I don't have a clue how to spell it. I would like to find a recipe for this dessert, if any can please help me spell it correctly. It was a layered dessert with some chocolate maybe mousse, I'm not sure, but it was delicious!

whenever I fry onions, they always turn out crunchy!!! At first I thought it was because I wasn't cooking them for long enough, but even if I burn them, they are still crunchy! Is this to do with the temperature/amount of oil?

Any tips?

My brother and I are fairly competitive. For Thanksgiving he has challenged me to a competition to see who can cook the best side dish. My family, including all of our children, will be the judges.
There will be a turkey so the sides need to go well with that.
I believe my brother is doing something with potatoes so I would like to avoid that.
Any recipes or ideas would be appreciated.

Hi everyone! I'm hate gingerbread, and I'm not a big fan of graham crackers, and I'm looking to build a house out of some kind of edible substance! Hence my dilemma. I'm not a chemist or a chef so I'm not quite sure what does what in recipes, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I could substitute in a gingerbread dough recipe that would make it not taste like gingerbread at all, or if anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks so much everyone!
