take them out of the freezer one to two hours before cooking them. Dry them out before baking them or then they will be "soggy" . Baking them after shouldn't be a problem. Bake them at a fairly low temperature, i suggest 325 to 350.

If you're doing a small amount, use the deepest frying pan you have and put about 2 inches of oil in the pan. If the directions are for deep-frying only, you'll be very disappointed with the quality and flavor if you simply try to bake them. If you don't have a deep frying pan, don't try it as you'll end up with oil everywhere!

That's odd... most have been partially cooked and you finish them off in the oven.
Yours may just be coated and left raw. In that case... Pour 1/4 cup oil into a 9x13 baking pan. put the shrimp in the pan, in a single layer. Bake them at 400 degrees for about 8 minutes. Then turn them over and bake for another 6-8 minutes. and check for doneness. The shrimp will "fry" in the oven. You won't need a lot of oil. Just this small amount will do.
However. If they are partially cooked already... You can tell, because they will appear slightly browned out of the box. Then just heat them in a greased pan, in the oven at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. Turning them over halfway through.

You don't need a deep fryer, just a pan with enough oil to cover them. Make sure you follow the rest of the directions though in as much as how long to leave them in. (If you overcook, or for that matter bake them, the coconut will get chewy instead of crunchy. Can I have some ;o)?

You just need to fry them in a pan with a bit of oil.
If you're trying to skip the frying, try laying them out on a cookie sheet and baking them at 350 for 10 minutes, then flip them and go for another 10. Try one, and if it's still cold or frozen, leave them in for another five. But 15-20 minutes should be enough time.

usually when there are only directions for one method of cooking it is b/c the other methods disturb the taste or texture of the food. in this case it will probably make them soggy if you bake them. instead, try taking a deep pan and filling it with several cups of oil, when the oil is hot fry the shrimp. you may have to turn it over or something to cook it through, but the taste will probably be closer to what is recommended.

I'd still bake them - you are fine. Frying without a fryer or experience will be a messy affair. Baking them is fine.
Try 350 for 12 minutes and keep an eye on them.

You can just use a big frying pan or pot. Put vegetable oil in it and deep fry them. Put enough oil in the pot to cover the shrimp completely.

Do you have a skillet? Put some oil in the skillet. Preheat it before you put the shrimp in. When you think they are brown on one side, you will have to turn them over to brown the other side.
