I want to make a bacon cheeseburger, but I'm going to incorporate the bacon and cheese inside the ground beef before cooking it....Also, I want to use it as a pizza topping...Do I need to cook the bacon a little before putting it in the burger or on top of the pizza? Or will it cook enough by itself inside the burger and/or on top of the pizza?

I cook dinner once a week for my whole family. There are 6 of us, my 3 brothers, my mom and my step-dad. My brothers are 15, 3, and 4. I'm looking for recipes for the next month or so that my brothers will eat without complaining (including dessert). I'm trying to use new foods that my family hasn't had before (that means hot dogs and hamburgers aren't gonna cut it). Please keep in mind that I'm only 13 and am not quite a professional chef.
Thanks so much.

I'm making these chocolate things for my mom's birthday and I need a double boiler. The problem is that I don't have one. How do I make a double boiler using only common kitchen pots and pans? Is it just put a small pot in a big pot. Does it cover the whole top or do I need to leave a opening to let the steam out? any help at all will help. thanks in advance
