marinade the chops with soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and lemon juice (eyeball it) for at least 2 hrs. grill/pan fry them three minutes each side. then reduce the remaining marinade over tha pan that you used. (throwaway the excess oil). place the chops in a serving platter and pour the reduced sauce over.
happy eating.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds pork chops
1 tablespoon kalamansi or lemon juice
5 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic
1 small piece ginger, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup onions, sliced in rings
4 tablespoons cooking oil
Pork / Beef Steak Cooking Instructions:
Marinate the pork or beef steak in kalamansi (lemon) juice, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and pepper for 30 minutes.
In a frying, add cooking oil. Add the marinated pork or beef steak and cook slow until done.
Increase heat for a minute or two to brown steaks.
Add the sliced onions and continue to cook for another minute.
Serve on a platter including the oil and sauce.

I may be too late in getting this to you, but here's a crock pot recipe for pork chops to serve over rice:
4 pork chops
oil
1/2 cup canned mushrooms (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 slices of onion
4 to 8 slices of cheddar cheese
cooked rice
Trim all excess fat from pork chops and brown in oil. Place half the chops in a lightly oiled casserole dish, and top each chop with onion slice, slice of cheese, some mushrooms, and some of the soup. Cover with layer of remaining chops and top with remaining onion, cheese, mushrooms, and soup. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve over rice

What you need is a sauce or something. You could serve it with a baked compote of tart apples, dried cranberries or raisins, and cinnamon, or with just applesauce (but--bleh), or with a tart orange-cranberry-balsamic vinegar reduction (chop up an orange, add about 3/4 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce, and about 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar, and cook, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes over medium-high heat, until you get the consistency you want). Or, here's an easy sauce for just about any type of meat--sounds crazy, but holy cow, it's delicious--dump a bottle of worcestershire (sp?) sauce into a saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until it reduces by about half. INCREDIBLE sauce (especially for a nice grilled steak).
Or you could stuff the pork chops. That takes some work, tho. For that, I suggest you check out www.cooking.com or some other cooking Web site.
Also, think about adding a starch to this meal. You could do mashed potatoes, whipped yams, or a lovely corn compote.

Here is how I make them, I cook them in a no stick frying pan, I salt and pepper them I add garlic and oregano, I keep cooking these turning them and adding more.
Until they get golden brown if they start burning I add the juice from a can of fruit little by little. keep cooking mixing and adding spices, then when they are brown and have a brown sauce in with them I add the fruit on top and cook that a while until it starts breaking up.
It's done and ready to eat.
Fruit I like are mandarin oranges, peaches, apricots or pineapple.
Very good, very spicy, and the fruit makes it taste perfect!

Place a canned peach half on each pork chop. If you cook your pork chops so that there are juices left, you can add the juice of the canned peach halves to the meat juices and make a tasty gravy.

Top 'em off with some Stove Top Stuffing after you've cooked them a bit. Just layer it on top of your pork chops. Goes over well here!

i love marinading my meats for a good 24 hours before cooking. For pork chops I would use a lemon and garlic marinade. I usually buy premade in a bottle..Lawry's has marinades by the ketchup and bbq sauces in the grocery store.

Fry them until they are golden brown. Remove them from the pan to a plate. Make a gravy in the pan. Return the pork chops to the pan and simmer them until they are tender.
