My husband and I are newly weds, and I used to cook everynight. I currenly took on a good job, but it keeps me really busy. Along with my other commitment such as the gym 3 nights a week. Ordering out became a habit, but weight gain quickly followed for both my husband and I. I would love to get back into cooking nightly, but with work and the gym it has been very hard. Mon, Wed, and Fri I am home by 7pm, and Tues, Thurs I am home by 5pm... So for the nights I am home at 7, I need some fast healthy recipes! (Something I could put in the slow cooker all day would be nice, so we could eat as soon as I got home) FYI - My husband isn't a salad person, otherwise this would be easy!! lol...

I am using 2 round 9 inch pans. I have had experience that it takes away from the baking through properly when put in the oven at the same time. Please tell me how to adjust the time or temp... or should I just put them in separately??

Thanks!

ok first off...this is NOT intended to be offensive, i am SERIOUS about this....however, everytime i use the word balls i admit, i giggle....tee hee.

i make these little oreo cookie balls and once they are chilled i need to dip them into melted chocolate.
well, i have been making them and inserting a toothpick into each ball and using that to dip it and then putting them on waxed paper to set.
well, some lady made these originally and she didn't use a toothpick and her balls didn't have a spread out base from the chocolate setting on the waxed paper.

how can i cover the balls in chocolate and get an even coating without any deformities, like a flat side from sitting on the pan.....

this is really bothering me!!!!

thanks!!

I had cherry peppers marinating in olive oil and vinegar for a few days in the fridge. The proscuitto and provolone was stuffed in the peppers after I took them out of the marinade. I hate to throw away all this olive oil (being so expensive)! Could I save the mixture for another recipe in the future?

Some one made my mother in-law a casserole dish and it was so good. I am looking for the recipe and was wondering if anyone has it. It was white rice with broccoli and then there was boneless chicken breast on top of it and the rice tasted like it might have had cheese in it and the chicken looked liked it might of had some type of soup poured on top of it. Does anyone have this recipe or something close to it?
