I have a friend who cooks a lot and I want to get her a heavy duty awesome blender. Any suggestions?

Cuisinart makes a blender with a food processor attachment that works like a dream. I've included a link to it on Amazon.

Both Cuisinart and Kitchen Aid are good brands, see if you can find one that has a food processor attachment as well as the blender.

I've used Cuisinarts and Kitchen Aids, and they're good, but the next time I need to buy one for myself, it'll be an Oster Classic Beehive.

Yes! I have tried many, many blenders....the best brand is a CUISINART!
