My husband says you are not supposed to do this because it will grow bacteria and you are supposed to defrost it under warmish water only. But I am always in a hurry and want to defrost it quicker. If it is still in the packaging and I cook it immediately after it is defrosted is this dangerous? I have not gotten sick yet, but dont want to if this is bad. Thanks

I have been looking at every store for a six cup egg poacher but I can't seem to find one. I even tried looking on amazon and they did not have a 6 cup egg poacher only a four cup egg poacher. Does anyone know where I can get a 6 cup egg poacher.

My mother-in-law is having gastric bypass surgery next week. I'm trying to find recipes to make for her in the weeks following the surgery, but I can't find any online and our library has been closed since a recent flood. Is there anyone out there who's had the procedure or knows someone who has that could help me get some recipes? They need to be high in protein and extremely healthful. I would sincerely appreciate ANY help. Thank you!!!!

My brother in laws friend made this loaf of bread that had beef, gravy, and veggies and baked in side. The person who made the dish leaves out of state and I don't have contact information. Has any one ever heard of this and do you have a recipe?

i'm looking for a recipe to make beef stew exactly like dinty moore's. my web searches have uncovered lots of recipes that are "better than dinty moore", "beats dinty moore into the ground", etc. but none that are the SAME as dinty moore (or as close to it as possible). can anyone help? oh, and in case you're wondering why, it's because dinty moore beef stew is major comfort food for me and brings back lots of fond memories of my childhood but it is so darned expensive in the grocery stores. other beef stews may be delicious and probably even tastier but i still just want regular ol' dinty moore ;-)
