We like to make "Packet Potatoes" in heavy duty aluminum foil. Peel or scrub your potatoes. Quarter them lengthwise, then slice about 1/4" thick. Grease one side of your foil - bacon grease adds flavor, but oil or butter also work. Spread the potatoes onto half of the foil. Add thinly sliced onion and season as you would for home fries. I use salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, oregano and a little garlic powder. Fold foil in half, then double fold the 3 open edges.
I put the packet on the grill when I turn it on to preheat it. Turn the packet once - normally when I put the burgers on. It cooks through in about 20 minutes and goes great with burgers. Don't forget to toast your hamburger rolls!
You could make the potato packet(s) up at home that day and then keep them cool until it's time to grill. Hope your team wins unless it's the Bengals - I'm a Browns fan and we play each other Sunday!

Chips (potato, corn, bagel, etc.) and dips; raw veggies (baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, zucchini and cucumber slices, celery sticks, etc), with dip (many grocery stores sell these pre-arranged on platters); BBQ beans or bean salad; chilled watermelon wedges, and, cupcakes for dessert.
Good luck.

rice salad:
one box of rice pilaf, cook per instructions, cool, then add one small container of italian dressing and whatever cut vegetables you like (cucumber, red pepper, carrots, etc)
it's good since it can be served chilled or at room temp
cookies and brownies are usually a hit
chips and salsa are easy
just keep in mind that people will likely be standing while they eat, so nothing that takes too much balancing
