I just tried it, I put an egg in a coffee cup, filled it with water and put in in the microwave. At about 1:30 into the cook time, the egg exploded. There has to be way this can work, is there?

I am from Chicago where meat was good! I always bought a rump roast and served it medium-rare. It was always 100% tender.

I now live in Arizona where meat is, ... well, just awful. I tried a few rump roasts here and they were so tough I had to actually throw them out. They were like leather.

Isn't a rump roast the best for a nice dinner roast, and I do not want anything like a chuck roast or a pot roast. I did try a rib roast from Fry's, Basha's and Safeway. They too were not very tender.

I have decided to spend a lot of money for a good roast at a speciality store and I want to make sure I get the best roast possible. Would this be a rump roast? My choices of stores are AJ's or Midwest Meats. This roast that I hope to buy will cost me over $40.00 for a small one.

It is so sad that I cannot buy good meat in Arizona. The meat at AJ's will be so very tender - it is not a good quality meat, but they poke the roast with hundreds of spikes to tenderize it.

HELP!

I don't have to too much time or money to prepare food. I need some healthy options. I eat fruits all the time so thats not a problem. However, I need meal options. I like tuna fish so I eat tuna salad sandwiches A LOT. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I have a very large exended family who come for Christmas and during the summer. I'd like to have a breakfast for them to heat and eat. I need a recipe for at least 50 servings.
Don't want pastries, need egg/sausage/or other common breakfast foods.

I'm making a turkey dish tonight for dinner; I'd like to know how to steam two heads of broccoli in the microwave. Would it take very long (i.e. 10-15 min. or so)?

I have a problem whenever I fry chicken. I do a basic double coated buttermilk style and everytime it comes out way too crispy, almost hard. I was wondering what I could do to make it so its a crispy peice of chicken without being tooth shattering, more of a crumbly coating I guess. Thanks!

I have a cookie recipe that calls for whole wheat flour and dough enhancer to make the dough light and fluffy. Do I have to use it? Can I omit it or is there something I can substitute for it? Thanks.

Hi!!! I'm looking to make roses out of frosting for a cake that I'm making. Please let me know how to do it and what tools you think I'll need! Also, what type of frosting would be good? (I'm assuming that I need a pretty stiff/firm frosting.)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'll pick a best answer TONIGHT!
