I would like a salsa recipe that isn't too hot. I'm looking for mild to medium. My boyfriend recently had homemade salsa at a friend's house and wants me to try and recreate. He said it was very mild at first and then had a bit of a kick at the end.

I am so bored with the salsas that I have bought at the store. But, if anyone has a suggestion on a wonderful store bought salsa please feel free to share that as well.

Thanks, in advance.

Hmm, I'm thinking about some enchiladas right now. I'm so hungry! I was wondering what is your favorite recipe for enchiladas. And if it's a secret recipe, don't bother posting about it.

Here's a pasta dish I created...I mixed diced chicken breast, spinach, mozzarella, parmesan cheeses, italian bread crumbs, eggs, thyme, garlic salt and pepper together. I then stuffed the mixture into jumbo pasta shells and baked with an alfredo sauce. It was ok, but I feel something is missing. Its the not the full flavor I was hoping for. What other ingredient(s) should I consider adding to the mixture? I was thinking maybe less spinach, add more different kinds of cheeses, and adding sundried tomatos. What do you think?

I’ve been reading questions about Swedish meatballs and I don’t recognize the recipes given in the answers. I’m Swedish by the way and as a Swede I have an idea of what traditional meatballs in Sweden is made of, most of the recipes is not what I would call Swedish. Meatballs, yes, but not Swedish.

So I’ve been thinking. Maybe there is something about the meatballs that makes them Swedish to a foreigner even though they are not Swedish to a Swede.

Now I ask you, what makes Swedish meatballs Swedish? Why not just meatballs with different seasonings and sauces? What is that one thing that makes them Swedish to you even though they are not of Swedish origin?

Chicken Fat?
We all know that chicken soup is good for you. We eat it when we're sick. Does anybody know why? Is it because of the chicken fat or something else? I heard that chicken fat is very good for you. Before I heard it I always took the fat off when I made a chicken soup because I am trying to be on a low fat diet, but then if there is not fat in the soup what is the point of it? Or maybe I can just leave the fat in it? For sure it would have a much better flavor with the fat in it! So, does anybody know the answer? Thanks!

I make roughly $500 per month; rent is $450. I'm also no master cook, so I need something simple. I can't afford many ingredients, obviously, but I want to make something basic, like spaghetti, that won't wear out my wallet. Nothing fancy is needed here, just a simple meal. My example would be spaghetti and sauce: boil the water, put the spaghetti in, heat the sauce, boom, done. Any help?

I really must apologize straight away because this is an incredibly stupid question.

I was reading a magazine that features a woman who cooks meals whose healthy recipes are designed for those with MS. She makes them all in a Dutch Oven, though - an item I've never heard of.

I've been looking at Dutch Ovens on eBay and in MANY of the ads they say things like "you can use on stove top and in freezer." They do not, however, point out specifically that it can be used INSIDE an oven.

The chef who wrote the article cooks all of her meals in a Dutch Oven IN her oven.

I can cook in a Dutch Oven IN my oven, right?

They're very expensive so I have to make the right choices here.

Thank you!!!
