I like to add chopped up onions mild peppers and then in the empty spaghetti jar I add about 3 or 4 table spoons of the mild pepper juice and shake it up and then put in with my spaghetti sauce.

Chop carrots,celery, and onion very fine, fry in frying pan with oil,garlic thyme,oregano & Basil, add to sauce let simmer 1 hour (longer if possible) but 1 hour will do.
You'll love it!

Add any or all of the following and simmer 30 minutes. You'll be amazed.

Zucchini
Mushrooms
Beef or chicken stock
red wine (drinking quality)
meatballs, sausage, leftover chicken, pork chops, etc.

Mushrooms, green peppers, onions, garlic powder, oregano and some sugar, so it's not so tangy.

They say you don't have to add anything but I disagree!

Hello:

I add cooked hamburger to mine and it give it so much more of a better and richer flavor! Other than that,it is my FAVORITE kind of spaghetti sauce and the only brand of spaghetti sauce that I will buy,not kidding! ;-)

It's even tastier with generous quantities of basil, oregano, and crushed red pepper added to it and then simmered at least an hour.

oregano, italian seasoning mix, red wine, garlic ( any kind, either powder or fresh), onion powder, a tiny bit of sugar, basil, parmesan or romano cheese.
