I have the beef mix, salsa, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, hard, and soft shell taco ingredients left over from dinner last night, too much to throw away, any suggestions to liven it up a little for dinner tonight?

I have noticed it takes the same number of steps for most foods if you use a microwave as it would to cook it traditionally. Why do they like it? The food is almost always better when cooked traditionally.

I only use my microwave for melting butter, making popcorn, reheating coffee. I would never use it to actually do my cooking.

I am cooking for three friends tomorrow night and need a three course menu which complements each other.

I've tried the internet but it's just coming back with individual recipes not a three course meal.

Thanks x

I've got a date Sat night and I promised to cook her a nice meal. I'm a pretty okish cook but this time I might have taken on too much. You see she's a bit fussy with food. She wont eat salads, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and particularly likes chicken and mushrooms. Any ideas? Any ideas on how to play it safe??

I was making a soup using vegetables and lamb shanks and it always burns and catches to the bottom of the pot. It says to cook it for 8 hours to make it tender and everything releases the flavours, if you add more water it makes it watery and crap, how do you stop stuff from burning at the bottom? I have it on low.

I'm looking to recreate a sauce I used to get at a diner, so this is not a request for the traditional spanish omelette. The sauce was thick, almost like it was made with tomato paste and it had green olives, mushrooms, onions, maybe some other things like celery and was slightly sweet. The sweetness was one of the things that made it especially tasty so I'd like to find out how to achieve this without just adding sugar (like caramelizing onions and carrots and getting some natural sugars from them or some other ingredient) Can anyone provide a recipe or some ideas of how to recreate this? I don't want to just dump salsa in my eggs and call it a day. Thanks for your help.

I don't know if I should cut open my eggplant and scoop out the insides, mash it up, and put it in the mushroom, or if I should cube it with the skin on, then put it in the mushroom, etc. I'm not looking for recipes, I already basically know what I'm going to do (grilled mushroom with garlic, onion, peppers, cheese, eggplant, etc). I'm just not sure of the best way to cook/utilize the eggplant. Thanks much for your ideas!

Take for example: Olive oil or extra virgin olive oil.

Coconut oil or virgin coconut oil

I think I might have a clue because of the word virgin but I'm not sure...
