I don't know many people who dress a fruit salad,
But often I've had a mixture of cream and sugar.

Raspberry coulis
Frozen raspberries, thawed but not drained. Purée in blender, then strain to get rid of the seeds. Bring to boil in a pot with sugar or light corn suryp to taste. You can also add some orange juice if you like. Let cool, then serve over your fruit salad. Yummy!

Filipinos dress fruit salad (small green grapes, young coconut, orange, banana, apple, and mango -- all cut into small cubes) with condensed milk. If you find it too sweet you can add a splash of whole milk to the mixture. I also like to add in some sliced almonds. Let me know if you try it -- it's quite yummy!

A fruit based vingerette i.e.; Citrus, Strawberry, Raspberry and etc. It should be light and compliment the flavors of the fruit in the salad.

marshmellow fluff mixed with strawberry cream cheese is a good fruit dip so I'm guessing it would mix well also into a fruit salad

A drizzle of honey and lime ...mmmm. You can add a touch of OJ or Sunny Delight but and just a touch bit of honey. I mix it in a seperate bowl. I eyeball the whole thing.
