The package has never been open and the expiration date is April 28, 2007. It's been stashed behind some stuff in the refrigerator that whole time.

She is not comfortable making any of the recipes I have offered. I am 57 and rarely use a recipe. You know, a pinch of this, add this ingredient until it is this consistancy. She said I am making her crazy. I say she should have watched me closer. This is an important dinner, and she is not concerned with the cost, just simplicity. Please only tried and true recipes!

I am an absolutely horrible cook. It's just me and my daughter at home, and most nights I don't even make the effort. I heat up frozen chicken strips and a can of corn, slice some tomatoes, and that's dinner. Every time I try to actually make a recipe, it turns out terrible.

Okay, you can all flail me now.

I've had chicken feet fixed two different ways. One recipe is generally called "golden phoenix claws" on the net- I don't like this one; the texture is broken down to goo.

I've had them fixed another way from a Chinatown market. It was probably steamed, but had a slight sesame oil flavour to it. The feet were intact, but the skin soft and fully cooked.

I haven't the recipe, but if anyone knows how to fix the second one there, please tell me.

If you don't know, please don't post any stupid answers.

I have tried all kinds of brownie mixes including the ones prepakaged that you just spread into the pan? They don't get done and are half baked and then when I bake them past the timing suggested that become very hard? Any suggestion out their?

I wanna make knishes & challah bread for dinner tonight.

How should I cook my broiler chicken on the side? And I'd also like a recipe for maybe some mixed veggies (carrots, broccoli etc)?

Any traditional Jewish recipes (easy, staple ingredients) u'd like to share?

I have potatoes, rice, flour, chicken, steak (dont wanna use that) etc.

THANKS. Shalom.

Every time I attempt to make an apple pie its always a disaster. Either the crust is hard or the pie is full of apple juices and makes everything soggy.
Does someone have a recipe for making a perfect apple pie? I've tried about three different recipes already and none have worked out for me.

Also, What type of apples are best for making apple pies?

My wife is wheat intolerant. Some recipes state using Maize Flour and some state use Cornflour. Are these the same thing ?

Does anyone have any really yummy ideas for a meal that is good but not too difficult or will take too long to make? I am limited on money and although I did offer to take him out for his bday, he preferred we stayed in and spent a quiet night together and I am already planning on making him a cake, which is why I don't want dinner to take too long but I really want to make him something special...Thank you : )

I don't want it to be rare because I don't like it like that but I don't want it to end up really dry either. I just want it to be nice and tender.

Thanks for your help.
