I used cheese whiz for a green rice dish and I use velveta for tons of things - mac and cheese, casseroles, grilled cheese.

I think its gross and slimey as far as eating as is.
but for cooking it works wonderfully.
I use it to make chili con queso.
there are many recipes for this .but this is how i do mine.
spicy pork sausage cooked /drained
1/4 cup green onions
1/2 cup green chilis chopped
block of velveeta cubed
1 can rotel or 1 small can mexican style tomatoes.drained chopped.
2tsp ground chili powder(adjust for personal taste.
add all together in crockpot on medium and stir till velveeta melts and blends with other ingrediants.
I also use velveeta for cassaroles and cheese sauces.

Don't care much for cheese whiz...
Love velveeta, though. It is made to melt easy and works well in many recipes... sometimes better than straight cheddar.
