Does anyone have a great ice cream cake recipe? And what kind of frosting would you use on it? I've looked all over the internet and everyone differs on the subject. I'm putting crystallized flowers on top of the cake so I think I might just do a whipped cream icing, has anyone had any success with this?

Start with the square sliced bagel bread, top it with your choice of sauce( alfredo, pasta, pizza), thawed grilled chicken pieces, mild peppers, diced onions and some shredded provolone or mozzarella. Stick it in a toaster oven for a full toast cycle 5 on a Hamilton Beach. use each half of the bagel by the way( like french bread pizza)

I have a baking contest at work and no one believes I can win so I need a great recipe to surprise everyone. It needs to be at least semi-easy, since I am not an experienced baker. It needs to be tasty (healthy really inst a feature that I care about for this recipe). The only rule for the contest is that its a baked good... this could be the assumed cookies or cakes but it could also be anything else baked. The contest is in two weeks so please post your best recipe and I'll let you guys know how it went.

I didn't know if salsa made from fresh tomatoes, etc. could be safely frozen. I would appreciate your help. The recipe made more than I thought it would, and I need to save it some how.

I don't "cook" per se but manage to raise a family on quasi- recipes, such as Rice-a-roni with chicken and frozen green beans thrown in, or Soup Starter with frozen peas and a diced potato tossed together. I freeze packets of cooked ground beef to throw a spaghetti dish together in the time it takes to cook the pasta and crack a jar of sauce. Does anyone else "cook" this way and is there a resource with similar ideas (other than kraft.com)? I'm not one to have the likes of cumin, cilantro or other bare ingrediants in the house, so normal "recipes" are rarely helpful. Any pointers would be terrific, thanks.

I peeled and froze peaches a while ago, but was in too much of a hurry to sprinkle them. Will they turn brown when I thaw them out? Or is there something I can do to prevent that?

Thanks!

We always love a bit of Joe Gray and I wondered if anyone else here knows what I'm on about? we always have tomatoes, bacon and potatoes in ours but as different people make it using different ingredients I wondered how other people had it?

We call them stuffed pizza pockets, but in Italy, back when I lived there, they were made fresh. I seem to remember a simple dough that you rolled out and then filled with whatever you wanted, then deep fried it for about 2 min.. Anyone have the dough recipe?
