I have a recipe for butterscotch frosting that I would like to try but not sure it would go well with the buttermilk?

I went to a few sites to look up buttermilk cake just to see what kind of frosting they suggested. A few of the sites recommended caramel frosting --- So I would think that butterscotch frosting would be great with your cake.

Hope this helps... Enjoy!

I think your butterscotch frosting would be fine. I hadn't thought of that! I normally just make a good buttercream frosting from my Betty Crocker cookbook for on my buttermilk cakes. Have fun with it - that's what counts!
