IN a pan on the gas cooker
and always milk in first as it stops it sticking to the pan
also don't have the heat up full as it can burn the pan as well.

I do not use milk in mine. I use a nonstick pan. Melt a small amount of butter and margarine. Just enough to coat the pan all over.
Break eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper to taste, and whisk WELL. I've watched cooks doing this in France and it seemed like they were overdoing it but apparently a lot of whisking adds air and makes for fluffier eggs.
Pour eggs into pan an cook over low to medium heat using a spatula to scrape the bottom constantly while cooking to avoid sticking. It will cook very fast, usually less than a minute depending on how much is in the pan. Do not overcook if fact it's usually best if slightly undercooked as it will be more moist. There cannot be anything more easy to do except maybe making toast. Best if cooked last when preparing a meal as they will cool off very fast and are not easy to reheat without drying out.

Tastes vary!
Use no water and no milk!
Heat a knob of butter in a thickish saucepan and add a little salt and pepper. Break three or four eggs into the pan and stir the eggs about so the yolks break and mix with the white but but dont completely blend them together. Once the white starts to become opaque take the pan off the heat and let the eggs finish cooking in the pan under their own heat.
And a dish with a history! Fry five sliced tomatoes in a little oil and season. Break two eggs into the pan, stir well in, and continue to cook until it is a uniform consistency. Serve on bread or toast. I am the only one in the family who will eat this; they call it egg mess!

Its a bit messy but on the scrabble board...only joking!!
2 eggs
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 slice of bread
knob of butter
pinch of chilli flakes
Method
1. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, salt and pepper with a fork.
2. Toast the bread and keep warm.
3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium-low heat. Tip in the egg mixture and using a wooden spoon, keep it moving until set but still moist.
4. Spoon the scrambled egg onto the toast and sprinkle the chilli flakes over to serve

No milk in mine, just salt and pepper and the eggs lightly beaten. Melt butter in a non-stick pan and when hot (not smoking) stir in the eggs with a wooden spoon and keep moving them around until a nice creamy consistency. Dont let them overcook, as they will continue cooking after they are removed from the heat.
