DO NOT REFRIGERATE your fresh pineapple......it will rot in the refer........cut it up to the desired shape(s), slices, chunks, etc, then refrigerate it.......but use it as soon as possible as fresh pineapple does not have a long shelf life.......Store any leftover in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in the coldest section of your refrigerator, in a Tupperware-type food storage container from which you can expel the air.....Enjoy!!!

yes fresh pineapple does need to be kept in the refrigerator, if you don't it will dry up quickly and will only be fit for the bin.
