I jus recently got working again because Im canadian and I had to do the immagration thing but I applied at a country club here with great expectations for the establishment I thought it would be a great place to brush up on my skills sense it has been a while and I could learn some great things . I was very disappointed when i saw the menu its not worth mentioning so I thought fine maybe everything is made from scratch like im use to .I hold high standards for food quality because I've worked at some damn fine restaurants where everything from the freash cut steaks to the salads were made right there. But majority of the food is premade from sysco which i guess is fine but at a country club I would have thought better .To top it off my executive chef is fresh out of school and dident even know how to butter fly shrip much less no her own menu Where im at for the time being the only other option is chilis until i get on me feet again what do i do what would you do ?

I love veggies, but honestly I have gotten bored with them. I want to eat more since I am trying to lose weight. I want to know some specific ways to make them more interesting that are low cal. Two things that I do already are put lemon-pepper seasoning on my green beans and broccoli; and I sauté spinach and garlic together.
