How can I make white gravy (like found at Sonic)? I just want a simple recipe....without bacon grease or sausage. I have flour (self rising & all purpose), butter, seasoning, eggs, milk, fork, pot, skillet. How can I make a good gravy out of that?

2 tbsp normal flour
2tbsp butter
1 C milk
1 C chicken or beef broth
salt and pepper to taste
pot
Melt the butter and stir in the flour and cook over med. heat for 2 minutes. Remove the pot from heat while you pour in the liquid gradually enough to stir it smooth. Return the pot to the heat and bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally. When sauce thickens, add salt and pepper to taste. This makes a reasonably good gravy. Use all milk and you have a basic White Sauce.

To make the gravy, pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the oil in the skillet, leaving the browned bits. Heat over medium heat and add the flour, stirring and scraping up all of the browned bits for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and gradually whisk in the milk. Stir in the salt and continue to whisk until thickened, about 1 minute.

I cook without recipe's so this is what I would do.
1/4 stick of butter
1/2cup flour
Melt the butter, add the flour, stir about 2-3 mintues to get the flour taste out. Add your milk or chicken broth if you have any, stir on medium heat until it thickens. add salt and pepper.
If you want more of a sausage flavor add some thyme and rosemary. They are found in mild sausage alot.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aOfrR
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

White Pan Gravey can be made by using butter or margarine, flour, and milk. Melt your butter and add enough flour to make a thick paste. Brown slightly and add enough milk to make a smooth gravey. Stir constantly, as sauce will clump and thicken and add milk to thin if necessary. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme to taste. Should be yummy!

2ways. Quick way: boil 1cup milk with blob of butter in, mix 1-2tablespoons flour with little water, add to boiling milk &butter mix well until thick, add seasoning to taste. 2nd way, takes bit longer: melt blob of butter on low heat, stir in 1-2 tablespoons flour, add 1 cup milk slowly, let simmer for one minute, add seasoning to taste. Grate cheese and nutmeg to both (optional) good luck.
