Slow cooker BBQ chicken:

Incredibly cheap and easy.

½ day 5 min prep
4 servings

1 bag chicken legs
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
1 can cola

1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.

You can just rub some olive oil and garlic on the skin of a roasting chicken, put in the crock with just a tinge of water, when it is getting done add your favorite BBQ sauce to it.
You could also use skinless chicken. Just be creative, you can't screw it up.
If you do the bone-in chicken after a few hours of cooking and before you add the sauce you could take the chicken out, put in a big bowl and take the meat off the bones, it should come off very easily. Return the boneless meat the the crockpot after you've shredded it all up, add your BBQ sauce, stir good, let heat through and you can have shredded chicken sandwiches.
