I made a double batch of chili a couple of weeks ago and froze half of it in a Ziploc, it won't be thawed out in time for dinner, can you put it in the microwave to defrost it in the bag? Or should I put it in a bowl first?

i wanna make my girlfriend cupcakes n i bought a cake mix to make them. the mix makes 24 cupcakes, but the cupcake pan i got only holds 12. i was wondering wat i can do. should i take half the batter n make the first 12 cupcakes, n when those are done, bake the other 12? would i have to cook them in less time or lower the temperature?

the box says to bake em for 21 minutes at 325, if thats any help.

btw is it ok to put food coloring in the batter?

I'm looking for some recipe or something for a real treat of a meal. Something incredibly difficult but also really good. I'm looking to impress her with the effort I put into it, and also prepare something out of the ordinary. She seems to prefer italian foods over things like chinese. Also please nothing too gross like haggis or something. I'd like to eat normal foods. Pig's feet or squirrel brains or fish heads are a negative. I need it to be with ingredients I can actually acquire too. Beer-battered Bald Eagle won't work for me. Any ideas?

I'm not going to the store until next friday. And until then, I plan on making Spaghetti tonight. I thought we had one jar of sauce left in the pantry but I guess someone used it for last weeks dinner. So, these are the three items that I have for tonight's dinner. Pasta, Extra Lean Ground Beef and 3 Cans of Diced Tomatoes. Is is possible to make spaghetti like that? If not, what can I make instead?

I having been trying for years to find a source for pork liver in the metro Atlanta, GA area. I've searched the internet and in many stores, including meat markets in my area and come up empty. I am trying to make boudin, a traditional Cajun dish, which requires pork liver. Can anyone help me out?

it is served at red robin.Or even if I could get something close, that would help out a lot. Here is what the menu describes it as "A zesty dish of tender penne noodles and a juicy chicken breast with sautéed onions, bell peppers and smoked Chipotle peppers tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce. Topped with tomatoes and cilantro and served with house bread."
