Can you tell me the story about the first meal you made for your significant other and give me the recipe of what you made too? I would especially love the stories that are funny, and the ones that won him/her over! Don't forget the recipe!

I have 1 recipe for 'griddle cakes'? Not sure if they're the real thing, but I'd like a recipe for something similar to McDonalds pancakes.
Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

When I was growing up in the 1970's, I had a friend whose mother was from Latvia. She used to make a cake that had shredded white cheese in it. You could use Brick cheese, Monterey Jack, Farmer's, Muenster - any hard white cheese. It was otherwise basically a white cake (with sugar, flour, eggs, etc.). Does anybody have a similar recipe? It was so-o-o-o delicious!

I cooked couscous last night. When I went to read the nutritional value chart, it said 150 calories for 1/4 cup of couscous. Does that mean if it is cooked or raw? Do you think couscous is better than rice? Thanks a head of time!!

Hi!

I'm a poor student :-) Do you have any good, easy, cheap, tasy recipes for me? Or perhaps unusual ones? My flatmate has a preference for pasta beans and sausages on toast.... interesting....
