Of course there are lots of recipes for for tortillas on the internet, but I am not sure what characteristics to look for so I can pick a recipe that will give me the kind of tortilla I want. What I want is a tortilla for making burritos. I like to really pack those burritos full of stuff, so I need a tortilla that is sort of stretchy, so it will stretch and not tear, and accommodate all the contents. I normally buy Azteca brand flour tortillas and they tear so easily. Taco Bell burrito shells are a little better but not the best. Qdoba burrito shells are the best ones I've tried, if I could make a tortilla at home like those ones it would be great. Seriously, I ordered a Qdoba burrito once that was stuffed so full I needed both hands to hold it and it was heavy too, but it didn't tear at all!

Anyone got a native american indian meat pie recipe that is homemade? I do not like using the pie pastry stuff. The meat pie I had the crust was so soft and it was not deep fried, yuck! The girl told me how to make it with bisquick that sold it for the indian bingo hall I worked at. I went home and tried it to come out a total flop and not soft like hers was, and I did exactly what she told me. Found out later that this recipe doesn't get out since it's only passed in families. Her meat pie had ground beef and cheese only for the filling.
Please help I've been looking for an awesome homemade from scratch meat pie recipe.

Does anyone have a recipe for cookies that may contain a preservative of some kind? All the recipes I use end up great that night, but the next day the cookies never end up being even half as good. But the ones from the supermarket or the "Cookie" stores in the mall can last for a week... what do I have to add?

I love eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce, but I'm currently pregnant so raw eggs is a big NO, NO for me. There is this restaurant that serves the hollandaise sauce warm so I assume that the eggs are not raw , but I'm not sure. Therefore, I was wondering if ALL hollandaise sauce are made with raw eggs or do some chefs actually cook them. If they are cooked, in theory it is safe for me to eat, right?

I'm just wondering if anyone has some easy boneless chicken breast recipes - nothing too complicated, just something that's easy, quick to just pop in the oven. Thanks.

I pop my own popcorn at home with an air popper. I would like to have a little butter on it but when I melt butter to put on it it tastes really nasty. Are there any good butter sprays or products out there to make it taste more like regular buttered popcorn?
