RE: peanut butter kisses (cookies)

I have the heat set at what they said, I left them in what they said (they-the cookbook), and my husband said they don't enough peanut butter in to taste like peanut butter cookies. I told him I followed the recipe to. While baking, they rose a bit, not much, but when I took them out they fell flat down. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

There are so many kinds (and brands) of vegetable oil available. I need recommendations for what's best to use in baking recipes that call for liquid veg oil (and not the solid Crisco or butter or margarine). The baked stuff is sweet, not savory (it's apple cake).

Thank you.

I followed the recipe to the letter. I have no idea but I did hear that if you don't use brand new baking soda or baking powder that they will be flat. Is this true?? If not what went wrong. I don't want to continue until I know. Thanks.

if it is barely warm why. I was always told to make sure all meat is thoroughly cooked all the way through with clear brown juices and piping hot to kill all bacteria. Is this a fad, or a bad chef, that lets meat rest, before serving the customer then serves the duck pink with pink juices to match.

So I just tried to open a can of Pillsburry Cinammon rolls. I peeled off the wrapper, but the can didn't pop open like it is supposed to do! (Yes, I have opened a cinnammon roll can before.) I don't know what I did wrong! I'm not sure if I went the right way or not! I tried to peel off the remainder of the wrapper that was stuck on the edges, but that didn't help either. I want my cinnammon rolls! Some1 pleeease help me figure out how to open this can!
