but can it stil make soft cookies?

no need brown sugar

Just use white sugar instead of brown. Leaving the cookies too long in the oven is what makes them hard so just lightly under bake for softness. Have fun! :)

CHRISTMAS FUDGE CHIP COOKIES
1 can Eagle Brand milk
2 tsp. butter
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate chips and butter on low heat. Stir and add Eagle Brand milk, flour, chips and vanilla. Cool -- spoon by teaspoon on greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

1cup cho.chips,1cupwhite sugar,1half cup of melted butter,1and 1half cup of all purpose flour,1tblsp of baking powder,1teaspoon of salt.Mix and bake at 325 degrees until edges are dark brown.Cool and enjoy.Happy Holidays.
