RE: peanut butter kisses (cookies)

I have the heat set at what they said, I left them in what they said (they-the cookbook), and my husband said they don't enough peanut butter in to taste like peanut butter cookies. I told him I followed the recipe to. While baking, they rose a bit, not much, but when I took them out they fell flat down. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

cookies usually tend to become flatter after you take them out of the oven because he heat was making them more puffy

Recipes are often bland and require spicing up according to an
individuals taste. Add more peanut butter and anything else that rocks your boat-like cinnimon, ginger, etc. To keep them from falling don't stir and mix so much-just lightly, enough to get the ingredients mixed together.

I'm not big on peanut butter cookies, but they never seem to taste very peanut buttery to me either. No matter if I make them or someone else does.

Maybe you should try another recipe there is a good one on the back of the Kraft peanut butter jar.

If you want, you can add more peanut butter for taste. And anyways, cookies aren't supposed to rise very much.
