I would like to make a small recipe containing real butter and also Crown Royale. Has anyone done this? Of course I realize that bringing the whiskey to a boil kills some of it, but I'm thinking that the real flavor would still be there and would also be a preservative for the butter (in the canning process.)

I am in the middle of making my meatballs and I forgot I do not have eggs!! I usually put in one for each pound of meat. Also I use bread, soaked in milk. Is there something I can use besides the raw eggs to keep the meatballs tender??

What do you think even though i'm not perfect i cant help but think of where this food came from ------when i was a child all through grade school 1950s --- 60s i did not get to eat lunch at school because my parents were poor and i did not want the other kids see me getting free lunches so i ate nothing and sit at the table while the other kids ate and they served good meals back then ,i've never forgotten that and i will always feed anyone who is hungry even if i hate him and i feel its wrong to mees up food if you do you may go hungry some day so i will always prepare food thats clean and filling it is almost sacared to me //

I like to bake a potatoe in the conventional oven becaus it doest get dried out as in a micro wave--- I wash it real good scrub it lightly with a clean scouring pad ,rub it with butteror olivel oil,rub it reakl good with salt ,wrap it in foil and bake till soft to the squeeze, then put ,butter, sour cream, chives, course black pepper -----or some cheese and brolic,or some chili, make a very good inexpensive meal-----do you have any other ideals to add to a baked potatoe ??

I have access to black walnuts and also have black walnut extract. I've tried a few recipes but haven't been satisfied with them. Either no flavor or didn't set up.

I asked yesterday what would be good for lunch and several people answered a jacket potato loaded. I was wondering if that is the same as baked and what part of the US uses the term jacketed? Just curious I'm from Kansas.
