I need to change a recipe to smaller portions can anyone help w/ the conversions?

5 gals peppers
2 jars mustard
4 # sugar
2 qts white vinegar

I only need to make like a jar of this not 5 gals!

If I remember correctly divide the old quantity by the new quantity - so you must determine the size of the ONE jar you want - quart, gallon etc. I'll look up my references and try to edit my answer later.
