I got invited to a cookie exchange tomarrow night, and I want to bring really tasty cookies that are soft and chewy. I don't want to bring anything boring, but I can't decide what I should make. I was thinking of something seasonal, like apple something or pumpkin spice. Maybe even something with rum or amaretto in it :) helpppp please, i need some ideas and opinions, thank u.

I bought a steak marinade and it says let it marinade for 15 minutes. With marinading I'd assume the longer the better..is this true? Would I get a better flavor if I marinaded over night, or a few hours before?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew a different base for vegetable soup other than tomato soup because the person I am making this for is diabetic and cant have tomato soup because it messes with their bloodsugar.
Thank you very much

When I go to a restaurant and order scrambled eggs, they usually serve these really light, fluffy solidly yellow eggs that taste really good. The eggs I buy in the store are good, but they taste fattier, so I really would like to know how the restaurants scramble their eggs or what kind of eggs they use.

I wanted to get a ceramic knife, but he already has one. This is not for a professional chef, but for someone who loves to cook and appreciates well-made things. Thanks!

So my $20,000 pot rack is now hanging up and needs some pots and pans hanging on it that aren't 17 years old (has it really been that long since we got those wedding gifts?). What should I be looking for in new cookware and what is the best value for a quality product.
