I dont have any baking powder. Can I substitute or go with out the baking powder?
What else can i do other than go to the store and buy some- please help.

I'm afraid it will not turn out right if you don't use the baking powder. It will probably be denser. If presentation and texture are important, get the baking powder. Otherwise, you can get away with not having it.

Try using baking soda.
