You can use a canned product like manwich... but to make them from scratch try this....
"Ground beef is sauteed with bell pepper and onions. Brown sugar, cumin, and oregano add interesting flavor notes to this old favorite."
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup water 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
8 hamburger buns, split
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute the ground beef for 5 minutes. Add the onion and red bell pepper; saute for 5 more minutes, or until onion is tender. Drain the fat.
2. Mix in tomato paste and water, stirring until paste is dissolved. Stir in garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, vinegar, brown sugar, oregano, salt and pepper. Continue to heat for 5 to 10 minutes, or until mixture is thick and stewy.

Sloppy Joes with ground beef and onions.
INGREDIENTS:
3 pounds ground beef chuck
1 cup chopped onions, about 2 medium onions
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups ketchup
2 1/2 cups water
8 split and toasted sandwich rolls
PREPARATION:
Cook ground beef with onion, salt and pepper until beef is no longer red, stirring to break up. Sprinkle flour over beef; stir to blend thoroughly. Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and water. Simmer, stirring often, for 15 to 25 minutes, or until thickened. Serve between toasted rolls.
Serves 8.
Or you could just go out and by a can or package of sloppy joes and add it to your hamburger

I just made these last night from a can and I've made my own from scratch before-but, Hines Manwich (Sloppy Joe) in a can is this best! You can find them next to the tomato sauces. Brown 1lb of beef and add can and heat. I like cheese on my sloppy joe too!

I use this recipe all the time. Enjoy!
1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup
dash Tabasco or other hot pepper sauce
1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
PREPARATION:
Brown ground beef; add onion and celery and cook until tender. Drain off excess grease; add tomato sauce, tomato soup, hot pepper sauce, salt, and chili powder. Simmer, uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes. Spoon onto split, toasted hamburger rolls.
Makes about 8 skillet burgers.

You brown some hamburg, drain the grease, and stir in a can of sloppy joe sauce. Or they also have powdered mix, find one in the store and see what they have you mix it with. Then put on a hamurger bun and enjoy!!

Buy Manwich Sandwich. It comes in a can. Brown hamburger like you were making tacos, then add the Manwich. Server on hamburger buns.
