These are small yellow berries in a thin husk and are officially labelled Cherry Tomatoes-they in no way taste like tomatoes but they are incredible in pies and preserves and made them years ago on the farm. No recipe in my files-farmers killed them as noxious weeds. bummer! Can you restore my faith in mankind.! marlyne B

Can I substitute honey for the sugar in a jam recipe? Is there any other additions I need to make to make it work (like baking soda with maple syrup)?

Does creamy frosting or butter frosting have a better consistency for decorating? One web site I went to said that creamy frosting is better because the butter makes butter frosting melt when held in hands for a long time in the decorating bag. Other web sites suggested butter frosting for sugar cookies.

Does anyone have a banana cake recipe that only requires 1 egg? All the recipes I have seen need 2. Also Martha Stewart said that if you want you can halve the amount of sugar in any cake recipe. How does this affect the texture?

I'm looking for free low carb recipes that don't use weird ingredients like soy flour or any other ingredients that are specialised. American websites tend to use a lot of these I've noticed, but I'm looking for recipes that use 'normal' everyday foods.
Can anyone help??
