I am cooking and the recipe tells me to bake for 50 mins on 180 celcius. On my oven I only have fan bake, should I leave it in for less time? And if so how long?

'For fan-forced ovens, check your appliance manual, but as a general rule, set oven temperature to 20 degrees Celsius lower than the temperature indicated on the conversion chart.'

Yes, usually a fan that blows the hot air around not only bakes food moer evenly, bakes it quicker. I'd reduce your oven tem by about 25ºF... not sure what that is in Celcius, sorry... **OR*** reduce cooking time from 50 minutes to about 40, and check for doneness. It sorta depends upon what you're cooking.
