Ok, I have some stir fry vegetables mix (fresh not frozen) some honey terryaki marinade, and some boil in bag jasmine rice. (I also have some frozen vegetarian steak strips, but that's not required--though it will earn you brownie points). What do I make? I need a real recipe not just "make some good stir fry vegetables". Thanks in advance.

I have only saw capers on the food network channel, but I am not sure if you can eat them or not, are they only for seasoning? How do they taste?

I know that pistachios are sorta kinda greenish, but I think whoever developed pistachio ice cream went a little overboard.

I have been a vegetarian for almost 10 years, but now I am trying to incorporate chicken and maybe fish into my diet. Since I've never made it I'm scared I will undercook it. What's the easiest way to start?

I got this recipe along with a starter for this bread... It is llike a friendship bread where you keep passing it along to friends along with a starter. My question is... This has milk added to it and is never refrigerated. How do the milk not spoil and couldn't this make people ill? In theroy this starter that I recieved could have milk that was put in a month ago or longer and I am worried that passing it along further or eating it could make someone ill. How does the milk not go bad if it hasn't been refrigerated for so long?

Happy 4th Everyone!

I was invited to a July 4th BBQ about an hour from home. I need UNIQUE and original recipe ideas that incorporate red, white and blue or somekind of 4th cliche' for the BBQ. I need something that will keep for a while that doesnt need to be reheated. Thanks.

Um.. I'm making apple pie tonight-- and i'm making the crust from scratch (thanks to no pre-made crust in the store). I've been on the recipe site, now I know how to make the crust now... but it said to bake the crust for 12 minutes-- and I'm wondering if I should do that before filling it with the apple mix or after I've poured the mix in... I'm unsure--

Should pie crust be already done before? (BTW, there is egg in the crust)
