I LOVE avacados, but I'm frustrated I don't have more recipes for using them. What are some other ways you've tried to use them, and did it work? Work well? Go beyond the guac! :)

I need a recipe for deep fried cheese curds. The breaded ones, not battered, please. Any info would help. I have a basic recipe, I just need to know what to use to make the dry ingredients stick to the cheese. Thanks!

I just got some fresh peas in the pod, but I have no idea how to cook them, and really no other ingredients (except maybe spices I already have in my cupboard). Help!

does anyone remember a type of cookie from their childhood, usually sold at grocery stores, i think it was called a divinity cookie. it was a lot like a normal cookie with whatever such as choco chips in it, but it had a powdered sugar coating which melted in your mouth when you bit in to the cookie...almost like divinity, but not quite. if you remember this cookie, what is it properly called, and is there a recipe anywhere out there for it? do you know where you can get them still? i have tried epicurious.com and allrecipes.com and no luck. any suggestions would be great

I have stayed at hotels with a Continental breakfast that served waffles that the guest could make themselves. I would like to know where these were purchased.

but you were basically still you, just now you are made out of candy, cake, and all kinds of good food that people love to eat. And he says he's not turning you back and you better watch out cause once you are eaten, it's over!

That's it. No real question here. Weird, huh?

I know hickory is a popular choice for smoking food.

Does anyone have any experience with pecan tree wood? I believe it is in the hickory family. I want to build a smoker, and I have an abundance of this wood available to me. Will it work well. How about the flavor?

Thanks
